In Flight Services

Copernio is well aware of the changing dynamics in both on board technology and aircraft specifications. While there was a time in which larger aircraft were called upon to funnel passengers through hubs - that has now completely changed. With the advent of small to mid-sized aircraft serving more and more distant locations - it has now become common for "regional" aircraft to serve ever distant points; eventually even coast to coast, and Atlantic flights.

At the same time, customer expectations have grown. No longer is it acceptable to deliver aircraft without amenities. Conversely, cost pressures on the OEMs should have led to innovative implementations of in-cabin technologies.

Copernio's relationships throughout the high-tech and broadcast worlds has given us a unique perspective on delivering customer satisfaction while adding products and services that contribute directly to the operator's bottom-line and that of the OEMs.

The Copernio system delivers cost-effective seat revenue, simplified technology operations, and multiple revenue streams. Based on stable client-server platform, incorporating Linux, Mac OS X or Windows NT - the architecture lends itself to rapid turn around, stability and multifunction capabilities.

Seats can be added or subtracted according to the operators needs - and options do exist for individual users to make use of personal computing devices connected to the airborne ethernet. Features such as games, messaging, movies, and point-to-point shopping allow for easy integration into the existing operator's concierge services and lounge amenities.

It is this very capability that enables OEMs to solidify and nurture their relationships with their operators - offering unprecedented avenues of revenue generation.

Copernio's Office Aloft products deliver word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation tools to passengers. Based on the same flexible architecture as the IFE systems - customers are given the option of working directly in the programs they are already are familiar with. Short duration flights, as well as longer ones, allow the customer to connect their work to ground based servers on arrival in order to email or archive their work. This flexibility builds customer loyalty - a feature that airline operators greatly value.
